without a full stack trace and some more information (e.g. fragments of your mapping file, code snippets documenting what you are trying to do, etc.), it's going to be nearly impossible to help you with your problem. JUst out of curiosity, are you using DBLocked mode by any chance ?

Hi,
I would be grateful if anybody could help me out in why Castor throws a fatal exception when loading objects. After this failure, the lock on this object is not released and the threads waiting for this lock fails giving a time-out error.
I would like to know why Castor fails to load the object and if it failed why it isnt releasing the lock on the object. Im using Castor 0.9.5.3 and mySQL 4.0.17 database and running multiple threads. Below is the log of the failure.
