When I downloaded the example, I pick the castor-axis-encoder.jar (which
included Castor serializer) that was coming with the sample.
The sample was using an old version of castor(I guess it was still
0.9.4, as
Well as an old version of axis (1.1, which did not include castor
serializer).
After 1 week of working with axis, I noticed (ashamed to say :-( )
that axis1_2beta included
Castor serializer, though it's not included into the build by default.
So I rebuilt axis to include castor serializer and everything worked
fine!
What I used was:
- castor-0.9.5.3
- axis1_2beta (built with Castor serializer INCLUDED)

I'm happy to hear that you solved your problem, but could you please be
more specific about the exact fix? If someone else searches for help
with the same problem, then they'll be able to find the real solution.
Also, please list the versions of each library (the term 'latest' won't
mean much in six months :-)). Thanks!
