Jan,
Adaptx is an open source project, written by myself (along with contributions from others)...there just isn't a main home page for it anymore. I was in the process of moving it to the Exolab servers when Intalio decided it was no longer going to support hosting open source projects except for Castor.
What is Adaptx? It's an XSLT processor and XPath engine.
The source code is publically available here:
http://project.exolab.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/adaptx/?cvsroot=adaptx
You can checkout the source code using the same rules here:
http://castor.exolab.org/cvs.html#Anonymous-CVS-Access
except replace "/cvs/castor" with "/cvs/adaptx". and "checkout castor" with "checkout adaptx".
The license is basically the Exolab license.
And just for your knowledge, SuSe already includes Adaptx in their distribution.

Hi,
I'm currently trying to write an ebuild for the gentoo project which
would integrate castor into the gentoo portage tree which means
that we want to make it possible for users to install castor in the
gentoo way, by building it from source. it seems to work fine to build
it from scratch, there is just one problem that i have. the
gentoo policy prohibits the usage of packed jars, and since jdk 1.4
some of the jars inside of the lib-dir of castor aren't needed anymore
because they are integrated into the official jdk. that is still
everything no problem. the only problem that i have is that i can't
find any source code for adaptx_0.9.10.jar which seems to be a
part of your project and not an external library. if the source code
is available to the public please point me to the right position,
if it isn't public please release the sourcecode so i can remove
the packed jar. if it is just a library of you have you ever considered just packing the sourcecode directly into the 'src'
directory, this would make live much more easier.
thx a lot, Jan
