Hi all,
Using castor do we able to save the XML file incrementally and free up
the memory periodically within the application.If so kindly suggest me
some link to do this.

Hi Keith,

Well, I just started to use Castor so I can't say anything with
certainty, other than that it didn't work as I expected. I want a
wrapper element for my arrays because that seems to be the custom for
web services. My schema specifies the wrapper element. I guess I have
to try the

<field name="items" type="com.acme.Item" collection="arraylist"
   container="false">
</field>

and the map-to thing. I've never setup configuration files for Castor,
so I have to read how to do that.

Also, is there a global switch to affect every array, or do I need to
setup a rule like above for every array type (String[], Date[], etc.) ?
