have a problem with my main halyard twisting, with several twists in
the two lines between the traveler car and aft boom blocks. This is a
1985 model with the traveler across the top of the companion way. All is
per the Catalina drawings.

I have untwisted the line several times, but it just gets twisted up
again after a few outings.

Anyone else experience this problem? Is there a cure?
see if you have set screws on the blocks to keep them from turning. If you do, tighten & this will end the twisting.
