We installed lazy jacks on Peregrine two seasons ago, purchased through (and made by) our local rigging shop in Toronto ("The Rigging Shop;" helpful, knowledgeable, friendly folk, if not terribly creative in naming the place...). However, we did the installation while the mast (and boat) were on the hard for the winter; never tried with the stick up... Installing with the mast down was fairly straightforward (with the instructions provided with the jack system). They're worth their weight in gold, especially when single-handing. (Although as first mate, I have to say that I deeply appreciate not being buried in the mainsail every time we drop it!)
