congrats! you'll love St Pete. It's a great town and Tampa Bay is a delight to sail on with pretty steady breezes (not counting the last few days). for an indication of what the breeze is like down there, I use www.iWindsurf.com enter in Tampa and you'll get wind recording all over Tampa Bay. The one called St Pete Pier might under report what the breeze is like as it gets a little stronger further out in the Bay by a knot or two (at least in my somewhat limited experience down there). anyway, you should have a terrific trip!! tf
