catalina27-talk: Visiting Seattle WA area this summer

I'm travelling with my family this summer to Seattle WA and we intend to drive home to VA via Yellowstone, Colorado etc.   We are planning on flying out, either buying a used mini van or picking up a vehicle that someone is wanting driven back to the east coast. So at this stage we are looking for ideas and infomation on places to go, things to not miss and if someone has a nice van or SUV they want moved back East or a cheap reliable used van...   At this point we intend to go to Vancouver BC, and Olympia WA to visit with friends. Then visit Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Arches and on to Colorado Springs. Coming back across the plains we have family in Peoria IL and friends in Iowa City.   It is just too much time and effort to drive out and back so we figured why not fly out buy a van out there and drive it back. We will tent camp and free camp if possible and visit as much as possible considering we have 3 kids 7, 10 and 12     Mark Tamblyn Charlottesville VA
