ON my motorhome, the directions are 1 cup bleach per 20 gallons
capacity, fill, drive around a bit and then let sit for 2 hrs, drain,
fill/aggitate, drain, ready to use. Works fine on the boat too.

One hint ... I've used "bleach" out of my wife's laundry room, and I've
used Chlorox. The later is far superior in terms of water quality after
you flush. The year I used bleach, I was still smelling/tasting the
stuff three months later.

Bleach. I don't have proportions (and they are important, since you
want to kill bugs but not damage lines and pump seals), but in the past
I've:

- added diluted bleach to the tank, let it sit for a while
- drain, repeat
- drain, repeat
- flush out at least 3 times completely with fresh water when you are
done. There may still be a bit left, but when you are talking a few
tablespoons over 10+ gallons, it will not hurt you even if it tastes a
bit "bleachy".
