Yer thinkin of Tom McMillan, who played center at Maryland (also a
Rhodes Scholar) and then
played pro ball for a good while. He retired from the NBA and ran for
congress and won. I
think he's no longer in politix.
Del. McMillan is Herb McMillan who ran for mayor of Naptown.
