Hi Dave, Spray was an interesting boat.  As I recall he found and resurrected her from a deteriorated condition in someone's back yard.  The design was classic schooner type hull, not very deep and somewhat like a cork on the water that did him well.  His story gets more than a little exciting being chased by pirates at Punta Arenas.
