My son who graduates HS in May just decided he's not taking a year off to "find himself" and needs to go film school - so he picked the place he wants to go - dragged himself there with his portfolio and said - I want to go to school here next year what do I do. They gave him an interview on the spot, looked at his work and handed him an application which he promptly brought home to Dad to attach a check to. Now I'm torn between feeling bad for him if he doesn't get in at the last moment and looking at the price tag that goes with it if he gets and hoping it really was too late to apply.
