the L&L dinner was great. And it was great to see Chris Maddox,
meet his wife and nice to see TF and the wife.
We were there with a couple that Tim and I have raced with (think we got a
2nd out of 11 C27s on the overnight race from Annapolis to Solomon's a few years
back, then got drunk, passes out on the grass before we could get rides back
home). But Julian always ends up in the right place at the right
time. We went to get a beer (yes it was a wine tasting, but old habits are
hard to kick) and got caught at the end of the buffet line when Gary J started
his presentation. Good news was the shrimp was at the end of the buffet,
so we sat there while the girl working the buffet kept piling these wonderful
shrimp on our plates till we had to tell her to stop. Julian, me and our
wives were stuffed.
Good times were had by all.
