we need to get you out on our Wednesday night races. There are 2 or 3 participants on this list that race together. Cary and I both race Jib And Main (JAM) and Bruce races PHRF (w/ spinnaker). Our class is definitely cruising class! Although a couple of people have really tricked out their boats.
Rochester is not that far from the water, even on a Wednesday night! You should come down to check out the action: 7 classes (starting times), starting at 7PM, with 40-50 total boats racing. You can find out more at www.LakeShoreSailClub.org, the host club for the Wed. races.

I finally got mine installed this weekend and everything works just fine, exactly as Dave had said. Thanks for the info. It saved me from going to a whole lot of extra trouble with Y's, check valves, etc.
