It was a direct change over however my old one was jabsco not groco. Are
they just diff names for the same item ?

I also would like to change the old factory installed Groco head in my
1985 Catalina 27, I was thinking of purchasing the unit you
describe (Jabsco Unit) from West Marine, however, I was curious if the
holes that bolt the head to the base on the new head fit the holes that were
drilled for the old head. In other words is it a direct change over. It
looks like it would be a perfect fit, but I did not measure the new one so I'm
not sure. Question - Does the new Jabsco fit right into the existing
pre-drilled bolt holes that were drilled for the old Groco
Head?
