Andy, Order
the F-108 (or F- 108N )
I can't see how it would ever
accidentally move. You have to Lift it up before you can rotate it.
They do have an Advisory for some
car users. They recommend a clip be installed to hold down the opening tab. It
just doesn't seem possible that it would be necessary.. In fact the spring in it
is pretty stiff and the ball is too.. It took a good pressure to Lift and Move
it.
I think my M-18 is pretty much
stock.. but I did measure the original ....Just in case .. LOL
It's the 16 MM threads. (If you
measure SAE You'll see 5/8th in.)
if you look at his list you'll see
the KUBOTO Z600 listed which is basically our same
engine..
The
Fumoto F-108 (I got the F-108N, "N" for nipple)
fits perfectly..
The only thing I found that was
different.... I couldn't Tighten/rotate the valve to have it line up in
the 12:00 position like it shows in the picture ..Snug tight the valve top is at
about 11:30..
Close enough for me..
LOL
One note: I don't think
it's possible to get all the oil out of the pan.. I've tried.
So I just "Flush" it with a small
amount of cheap oil,Let that drain out, then fill with the proper
Oil.
It's about the best I can
do.
You'll really like the convenience
and the NO MESS ..
Best,
Ralph
