Thanks everyone for your response.  I checked the transmission fluid today and it’s OK.  A little tough to get to but it is manageable. Is that a misprint about ATF versus AFT?  The manual does call for Type AFT “A” or GM Dextron – II.  West Marine had Dextron III but no Dextron II. It sets on the top of the housing..    It measures about 14 mm  If I remember correctly.. NOTE:  The "FULL" measure is a Groove around the bottom of the Bolt..
