Sorry you didn't look me up.  I live about a mile up the hill from the harbor, almost under the famous archway as seen in Payton Place.

Many thanks, it probably is what I am looking for.  Whatever it costs, let me know where to send the check.

We visited your little corner of paradise last summer (at least in the
summer that is). Camden was one of our stops. Bought ice cream from the
store that has a line about 50 people long. Watched the boats coming and
going and went up and looked at the view from the lookout at the top of
the state park. Maybe in another five years we will get back. It was a
welcome relief from the Virginia summer inferno.

I'm not sure if the thing I have is the same as you are looking for. I
will be at the boat this Saturday morning and will collect it and mail
it to you. If it isn't the right part then no harm it isn't of any value
to me. If I don't get it in the mail then it will be three weeks before
I'm back there as we are leaving on vacation to visit national parks in
the West. (Another escape from the heat!)

Hi Mark,

It's shaped somewhat like a horseshoe although round with a ball-like
fixture on each end that grips the boom. I would be very pleased to
have it. Let me know what the shipping cost might be. It needs to come

to 45 Union Street, Camden, Maine 04843.

Hope it isn't too much trouble.

I think this was the boom vang setup? I now have a solid vang so you

are

welcome to have mine. You just neet the attachment device or the entire
vang?

Years ago I had a boom yolk that gripped a round boom while not
interfering with the main sail. I would like to find one or find the
manufacturer of one. I prefer this arrangement to trying to use the
bails for the preventer. Does anyone have any ideas of where I might
find it. West's doesn't know what I am talking about, nor does

Catalina

Direct as they hung up on me.

Thanks for your wisdom.
