I’m done with painting and wax. I’d love to get the boot stripe and accent stripe (below the rub rail) painted but it isn’t happening this year.

Feeling a little stiff this morning, a weekend of hard labour makes me appreciate the fun job I have fixing peoples computer woes. They did put me in a good patch of shade which was really nice of the yard.

Two years and an extra summer out of one paint job, just a power wash and prop cleaning each spring. I had about 4 barnicles on the waterline and the rest of the boat was okay. Prop and strut was covered as was the bottom of the keel. I couldn’t ignore it any longer. I’m planning a couple of fall trips and getting the maintenance done is essential.

Now I have winches to service

Two leaking windows

New bulkheads

And a new Larry Robertie table and cabinet which I hope to get this week. (I’m really excited about this)

If I can find the time the deck is getting painted. I haven’t yet decided what to use but I’m leaning toward two part interlux with the single part non skid paint.

Should get back in the water Friday I guess. That way I can pick her up on Saturday morning and put her back in the slip.

I have a really bad feeling I left the depth sounder on and the battery on. So I might have to charge the battery before doing anything else.

Hey Mark,

I see you brought Josephine over to keep Knot Home company!  Bottom painted and ready to go!  How long do you plan to be out of the water?
