Saturday I made a 21 mile trip to Balitmore Inner Harbor and returned on Sunday.  Saturday I motored for about 1.5 hours and sailed 3 and did the opposite returning on Sunday.  Had no real issue with the engine; however, had a couple of questions.  I have a two blade fixed prop and have noticed an odd vibration in a following sea wihle under power.  Is that typical for the boat, for a two bladed prop, or both? 

Second, a friend suggested I sit further up in the cockpit because the stern sits low in the water.  I am 6'2" and weigh 227.  He said the added water pressure on the exhaust would reduce engine efficiency and by moving forward it allowed the stern to ride a tad higher and reduced the amount of "popping" the exhaust was making.  So, does that make a difference?
