Thanks Jim,
I'm of Scottish ancestry; so, why spend $300 when you can work your ass off,
spend a lot of sweat equity and get it done sort of right?

                Hey,
Has anyone ever rebuilt one of these? I'm getting ready to and
am looking for a manual or some instructions.

Indeed, Lance, I have rebuilt my Princess stove; a couple of times,
actually. And, I got it to working well, always careful to avoid the dreaded
alcohol "flare ups."
Why not change to an Origo as Chris Maddox suggests? I'm cheap and
didn't want to pay $300 or so for a new stove. But, mostly, I was attempting
to "restore" my '76 not simply "fix-up." so I tried to use original parts
throughout.
I found another Princess at a marine consignment and salvage store
for $50, which I used as a source of parts. I also received counsel and other
parts from A & H Enterprises in California. Their website:

            Good luck.
