Thanks Susan, I actually was a member of Fleet 58 and formed Fleet 258 -- the cruiser fleet for the C-22 on Loch Lanier. Now that I have a C-27 to cruise, I use my C-22 for racing.

About five years ago, the group tried to be active, but a lack of interest sunk them. I can't answer for an All Catalina Fleet. Certainly with the number of Catalinas on the lake, you'd think there would be a fleet. As you probably know, Catalina 22 Fleet 58 was started (revived?) more than 10 (maybe 15?) years ago largely through the Herculean efforts of Dennis and Pam Slaton and a few others. That is probably what it will take to get the C27 fleet going. I've attached it anyway. It has a source for parts as well. I'm altering it to use the small butane canisters. It is an involved project that involves cannibalizing two butane stoves (available for about $15 each, made by hordes of Chinese craftsmen) and lots of Dremel work. The two years is because the parts look so good stacked up in my basement. And I haven't found that round tuit I need to complete it. I would recommend against rebuilding a pressurized alcohol stove, but that's my preference. I know that there is an Origo that's a drop-in replacement that's purportedly a LOT safer.
