We did the run down the bay from Annap to the Bay Bridge/Tunnel in 15 hours in November on a 40 footer. But we were running almost all the way. The wind shut off around Smith Island and we slowed down significantly for the last 1/8th of the run. We did get creamed once we got into the ocean but still made the trip to Ft. Lauderdale in 5 1/2 days. Once on the ocean it really sucked, but the Chesapeake part was a fun ride. Chris D toy box eastport, md
