catalina27-talk: Outboard motor

I have a 1973 Catalina 27 #1114 with a Petter diesel inboard.  The old engine 
has water in the oil so I am thinking  of  changing over to an outboard.  Any 
suggestions as to outboards and mounting brackets?  She is berthed at at Lake 
Millerton in central California.  I am looking at the Tohatsu models.
