After cutting out the old fuel tank I realized that no new fuel tank would
fit back in through the cutouts in the quarterberth. Therefore I cut out a
nice chunk of quarterberth surface to be able to drop in new fuel tank.
Here's the problem. The fill inlet on the fuel tank is vertical. That would
mean I would need about 3 feet of clearance to make the fuel hose bend the
90 degrees. The original tank had a 90 degree elbow immediately connected to
the top of the tank, just like what's shown in Bijou's website. However,
what everyone sells is Tempo tanks and they all seem to have vertical fill
inlets and no seller had been able to offer a solution, such as ordering
them with 90 degree inlets or providing elbow fittings that can be connected
to the factory inlet.

I'm pretty surprised because I think there should be a lot of these tanks
being sold for similar applications.

Anyone know the solution?

Thanks,

Doug
