I did have the big anchor as my primary but it is just too heavy to haul
up unless I need it. The PO put heavy chain on the anchor along with the
huge anchor.

So you keep a bigger anchored stowed as a backup? I (who do not have 
a back-up) would have thought you'd want to use the heavier anchor as 
your number one. After last weekend, I'm thinking of getting a 20 or 
25 pound and stow my current anchor, which I think is a 13 but may be a
20.
