My '81 does the same thing, but I found that if I pull it a bit further past where "it" wants to stop it keeps the rain out.,

I like the hole for ventilation, and know that the best solution probably is for a thicker board on the back of the main hatch. But that takes time and money. So I thought that I'd check to see if anyone had a simple and easy solution, that looks nice.
