After looking at the specifications, Sta-Set X has about twice the stretch, for a given load, as XLS Extra-T. For 78' 5/16 line, it's an extra $20 per halyard for XLS Extra-T (WW pricing). Seems like a no brainier.
Any other reason why one would pick Sta-Set X over XLS Extra-T? Note: this is a cruising sailboat. Any recommendations for line and professional splicing services appreciated. John
