Chesapeake Listees,
Okay, Cary is from Maryland. Lots of racing; all kinds.
I sail my C27 out of the Mathews Yacht Club in the lower bay. I know of a
few other C27s in my general area, but that's all. There's some serious racing
out of Deltaville, RRYC, Fishing Bay YC, and others, but, I'm not aware of any
C27 one-design racing. If any of you C27 sailors would be interested in trying
to some kind of racing program going, how about we talk (okay, type) about it.

27's in all the local marinas and so few race. I am the only 27 that sails the
DRYA series regularly. I have had great success, ended up 2nd overall in Cr.
PERF last year. It sure is a lot of fun beating the likes of an X40 or a Farr.
Just would like a little more one design type of compition instead of figuring
out the results on a computer.
