Hi Phil,
We will be sailing SF Bay Feb- May, then off to the Broughton
Islands above Desolation Sound, launching in Anacortes, WA. in mid
June. (Plan A) However, today we learned that my daughter in law is
expecting in August so I will need to single hand for 10 days or so.
(Plan B) would be to trailer down to Santa Barbara and sail So. Cal
for the summer. Perhaps we could rendezvous then. I will keep you
informed. Do you have a private email address so I don't have to
post to the forum?
Also, thanks for the WHAM info. It's nice to have someone with your
knowledge around. We have Carlos Valencia in the Chico Yacht Club,
and he has written some technical articles for Lat. 38. He's a very
good friend, always willing to share his knowledge and expertise too.
Cheers!
Herb

Ahoy Mates,
Are there any Catalina 270 sailors who trailer their boats to
different sailing venues? We do, and I am wondering if there are
others. We have trailered our boat to the Pacific Northwest, San
Francisco Bay, and Alaska and I am wondering if there are other
folks doing this and what your experiences have been.
