Lance I few years ago, I tried to re-build the head with the appropriate Groco kit. It was a waist of money. I eventually had to get a whole new head. I waited for a sale, the whole new unit delivered from Defender was about $125.00 or there abouts... This was about twice as much as the repair kit that didn't work. I should have just bought a new one from the start and I would have saved the cost of the repair kit that didn't work. The new one was an easy installation after taking out the old one.
