Amazing. What length lags did you use?

Not sure of the thickness. Several years ago the lag bolts in my head had over time made the holes larger and the head could not be secured. I filled the holes with Marine Tex, redrilled and secured head with lag bolts. No problems since.

Thanks for the responses. How thick is the fiberglass there as it would seem to be a wee bit insecure with just lag type bolts.
