I think you are talking about a Universal M-25xp. 23 hp. My buddy has the M-25 (21hp) in his Ericson 35. The xp is the same engine, but with a slightly larger bore than the M-25. Universal also made a M-25xpa and a M-25xpb. I believe that these are both 26hp. I think it is a great engine. Smooth running 3 cylinder. Parts are easy to get. Should last between 5,000 and 10,000 hours, depending on care. Don
