beats me, but if so I am thrilled that it has finally found a home in Naptown. It always wanted to be there. In fact, once when we sailed it down for an over-nighter in Spa Creek, (in Acton Cove), the next morning we were getting ready to sail it back to Baltimore and the damn thing, with a mind of it's own, went and ran its keel up on a very shallow sand bar! It did not want to leave!! Searoom was behind me in his Pearson Ariel and took some pix....while he was shooting, a guy in another boat came along and asked what was up? Garry said, "the dork in the red boat has run aground." Apparently the guy answered something
like, "Where he's sitting right now, I've run aground too....in my canoe!"

I will have to come down and sea for myself....also, and completely coincidently, there is a guy in Port Annapolis that I need to loosen some of his teeth for him. I am not a violent person but this
guy is not a gentleman and deserved to be notified.

Please attend with bail money.

ps....Tide did that race, too...non-spin and beat us over the line by about 5 hours.
pss...that red paint was Imron and should last a long time.

So my wife and I are showing my inlaws the local marinas and most importantly my wife's office at Port Annapolis. We are driving through the marina and I see a C7 on the hard and make a mental note to go check it out on the way out of the marina. Outboard model, check, name, really small on the side and not very well aligned. Looks like REDACTED. I start to drive away and then start to put some things together. The topside paints are starting to peel away and under them seems to be a red paint, check. Wait a second, Tim's boat was named Redact (he will have to give us why he named it that). So I double back around to see that all the topside paint is peeling and the hull color was recently red.

So the question is....Is the "new" redacted the "old" redact previously owned by our own Tim Ford???

I can remember hosting him at our Annapolis dock for the 1998 or 1999 Governor's Cup. As I said to him at the time, anyone crazy enough to do that race in C27 has to be crazy enough to be a friend of mine.

So is it the same boat or not???
