Requirements to race in the National Regatta hosted by CBYRA at Race Week, August 2009? (pending formal NOR) For the Catalina 27 Nationals Membership in the International Catalina 27/270 Association Membership In a chartered Catalina 27/270 Fleet, unless the boat is outside any Fleet territories. For CBYRA Race Week Membership in their National Authority (e.g. US Sailing, Canadian Yachting Assoc, etc) Membership in CBYRA, or in another YRA if the entrant does not reside in CBYRA territory Handicap / Measurement Gold fleet will be sailed one design (no adjustments) among sloops complying with the specifications of Section IV of the IC27A bylaws (http://www.catalina27.org/public_pages/bylaws.htm#c_06), eg no tall rigs or 270's.? Arrangements must be made to complete measurement IAW the bylaws prior to event start.? Fleet 8 will make it's measurer available on Friday and by prior arrangement. Silver fleet will be offered non-spin for all other participants.? Finish order?will be handicapped under PHRF for varying rig, keel, auxiliary propulsion and sail configurations. That should be the full list As for how they check on various memberships - the?CBYRA and USSailing #'s are required with your registration.? The Nationals Committee will separately confirm IC27A and Fleet membership.
