Thanks for getting back to me Jon. I hadn't seen this method on the C27 list, so I questioned it. It does seem like the ideal method with external halyards, but I wonder how it would work with internal halyards.

The method uses plastic electrical ties, spaced approx 1 foot apart, with each pointed 120 degrees from the last. I do not have internal halyards. The benefits of this system are: no holes in the mast, very little added weight, easy instillation, and, hopefully, no noise from the wires.
