I was administering a forum for Bob Evelyn designs,

(still am, sort of) and the sheer amount of spam-bots per day was
exhausting!
I was literally spending 2-3 hours a week going in and cleaning out
bogus members and
their stupid porno sites. I found the stuff on the forum when one of the
legitimate users
pointed out a post from Cameroon that was just absolutely vile!
This was using phpBB applications...but luckily someone bought an Evelyn
32-2
who is an internet wiz and he set it up so that bots can no longer
infiltrate the website!
cost of doing business, I guess but I hope the guys who write the code
for these stupid
things rot in hell.
