I know I shouldn't do it this way, but I have had enough for today, and
the official bug report page tells me I have to go through yet another
layer. So there.

I have an odd problem with the Cheese Shop page. The login works as
expected; Firefox displays the authentication dialog box, I type in the
username and password, and I check the box to tell it to save the
password. I click OK, and I get a personalized version of the page. I
also inspect the list of saved passwords; it is there, fine.

Now I click on the logout link. Unexpectedly, I get the authentication
dialog again, _without_ the remembered username and password. I click
Cancel, I get a page telling me I am not authorized. I look in the
Firefox list of saved passwords - it's gone.

It looks as if the Logout link does something more than it should
(i. e. forget the session cookie). Or is this a bug in Firefox? I have
never seen this with any other site.

About box says:

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20070310
Iceweasel/2.0.0.3 (Debian-2.0.0.3-1)
