There's a thread on comp.lang.python about a "spammer" whose useless software has now been removed from PyPI. I wonder if a SpamBaye plugin for PyPI submissions would be helpful? If there's interest, let me know. I can give you a hand, though I'll probably need some help from a PyPI expert for integration.
