There's one small problem, if you went to http://last.pypi.python.org/ it actually redirected you http://mirror.rit.edu/ (our linux mirror) instead of http://g.pypi.python.org/ -- fixed that just now!
Just so everyone knows, the box that hosts g.pypi.python.org also hosts our linux mirrors and is the highest-traffic service at RIT. There's a neat webapp I wrote (in python) that visualizes server traffic in "real time" (using COMET+orbited+moksha+turbogears2).
