Good point. We want the problems to be fixed, not avoided. One thing just struck me: We have the maintainer emails of mots packages (although they might be outdated). We can email all of them saying that they need to upload the packages to PyPI and why. > who don't care and jsut want to install their packages is not going to make > it any more of a smoother transition.
