Due to a technical error with the processing of Approved Subject List 02, 20 unvetted proposals were inadvertently released through the MARC Distribution Service (MDS) on March 13, 2012. This includes proposals to revise headings or references, and also proposals to establish new headings.

In the case of proposals made to revise existing records, the Policy and Standards Division has returned the records to their pre-March 13^th state. The reverted records will be included in the MDS update for March 20, 2012. In addition, the proposals themselves have been rekeyed and will appear on Tentative List 04 (April 16, 2012) so they can be vetted through the normal editorial process. The affected records are:

The Policy and Standards Division regrets any confusion that this technical error has caused.
