OCLC is pleased to announce that an updated version of the OCLC
macrobook for the Connexion client is now available for download at:
http://www.oclc.org/content/dam/oclc/connexion/oclc.mbk
This macrobook contains revisions to the following three macros:
1)Add33x -- Updated to pre-select common menu choices based on coding in
the fixed-field and 300 $a
2)Generate043 -- Updated to include more places and accommodate changes
in names
3)GenerateAuthorityRecord -- Updated to generate name authority records
with RDA coding and prompt for the addition of attribute information, etc.
When you click on the link, select "save" on the pop-up box, and then
save the macro to the folder containing other Connexion client macros,
i.e., /Program Files/OCLC/Connexion/Program/Macros. If you are asked if
you wish to replace the existing oclc.mbk, respond with "yes". That's
all that is needed. Your macrobook will then be updated to include the
revisions noted.
