On Friday, August 16, the Library of Congress began a scheduled power outage that shutdown access to all websites and systems from Friday, August 16, 5:00 p.m. EST through Saturday, August 17. As a result of this system maintenance, the NACO contribution/distribution processes were delayed. An analysis of the recovery showed that not all NACO records were loaded as expected (some updates made by OCLC members on Friday).
LC staff are working to resolve the problem, but until it is resolved, OCLC NACO catalogers may find that these records are still locked in that system.
