The MARC Advisory Committee pages on the MARC website have been revised and updated to reflect the transfer of maintenance of the MARC 21 formats from MARBI (which dissolved in June 2013) to the restructured MARC Advisory Committee. The revised index page of the MARC Advisory Committee is http://www.loc.gov/marc/mac/ (also accessed through the "MARC Development" link of the MARC homepage).
An overview of the MARC Advisory Committee, along with its Terms of Reference, is now available on the new MAC index page. A list of MAC members has also been revised and posted. Links to MARBI proposals, discussion papers, and minutes are still available on the MAC index page. The MARC Advisory Committee will be meeting at ALA as did the MARBI committee.
