The Association for Library Collections & Technical Services (ALCTS), a division of The American Library Association (ALA), seeks a dynamic, entrepreneurial and forward-thinking Executive Director. Qualifications: Required: * Demonstrated member service orientation; * Management experience; * Demonstrated leadership ability; * Strong communication, advocacy, and interpersonal skills; * Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, and build and leverage partnerships; * Strategic planning experience; * Demonstrated ability to promote and manage change; * Mature understanding of complex organizations. Preferred: * Master's degree in Library and Information Science, or equivalent; * Experience working for a professional association; * Experience working with organizational Boards of Directors; * Experience with revenue-based budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting. . Starting Salary: Negotiable from $90,000, based on experience. ALA has an excellent benefit package that includes paid vacation and a retirement annuity. .
