The ACRL Technical Services Interest Group focuses on the special needs and
interests of all technical services workers in academic libraries. We are
looking for speakers to present at ALA Midwinter in Chicago on Saturday,
January 31 , 2015 from 4:30 – 5:30 pm. We are especially interested in hearing
about how technical services librarians collaborate with colleagues in an
academic setting, whether in research, teaching, or any other areas. We are
also interested in hearing about how your technical services workers
collaborate to stay relevant and engaged in the business of the library as a
whole.
Presentations should be about 10-15 minutes long. Audience questions and
discussion will be encouraged after the presentations.

Please email proposals to Gwen Gregory at [email protected] by Friday, December
5, 2015. Please include the following:

• Presentation title
• A brief (1 page or less) summary of the proposed presentation • Names and
positions of presenter(s) • Email address(es) of presenter(s)

We will notify you by Friday, December 19, if your presentation has been
selected.

We look forward to hearing from you!
