---------------------------------------------------------------------- Message: 1 Are you a catalog librarian in the first five years of your career? Did you take cataloging courses in library school? Are you planning to attend ALA Annual in San Francisco? If so, the ALCTS CaMMS Competencies & Education for a Career in Cataloging Interest Group invites you to talk about how your cataloging coursework did (or did not) help prepare you for your cataloging duties in your current professional role. The program is scheduled for Friday, June 26 from 1:00-2:30 p.m. and will feature three 15-20 minute presentations. Additional time will be allowed for questions and discussion. Please respond by Tuesday, June 9 with your name, current professional role (including type of library in which you work, e.g. academic, public, special, etc.), and a brief statement summarizing your cataloging coursework from library school. I look forward to hearing from you! Sincerely, Bruce Bruce J.
