Hello:
Enclosed is a link to a recent webinar recording we trust you will find of value and we encourage you to share with colleagues. You may have heard about the Semantic Web, Linked Data and/or Web of Data but what does it all mean? This session will provide you with a base understanding of these new concepts and how they can apply to the library space. http://zepheira.com/june2015webinar/ As members of ALCTS, we invite you to attend our Practical Practitioner Linked Data & BIBFRAME Essentials online course and join the 300+ participants that are now a part of our Alumni. The online course is self-paced and requires ~10 - 12 hours of commitment over a 5 - 6 week period and participants will be able to load sample files of their own MARC data and transform them into BIBFRAME resources. A brief video overview of the training is here: http://zepheira.com/solutions/library/ The cost of this training has been reduced from $795 USD per person to $500 USD per person for this offering. Training registration link: https://zepheira.wufoo.com/forms/zepheira-public-training-registration-201506b/ A customer list of those institutions (academic, public, National, special and vendor community) that have taken the training has been enclosed. Of utmost importance is the on-going dialogue and exploration of Linked Data and BIBFRAME with this Alumni group. We hope you can join us for the training, or possibly participate as a Libhub Experimenter or Academic Early Adopter (details in recording).
