The CLA Management Interest Group is back in action. We are currently
developing the Career Center programs for the Annual Conference, and working on
the next pre-conference newsletter LEAD.

The Management Interest Group promotes excellence in the management,
administration, and governance of libraries in California. Whether you're
currently a leader or are exploring a leadership role in the future, the
Management Interest Group provides networking and learning opportunities for
library leaders of today and tomorrow. Find out more here:

Our newsletter comes out three times a year, September, November, and January.
Find articles and curated links on management issues in and outside of
libraries, book reviews, and events at Annual Conference, Spring Fling, and
throughout the year. See past editions here: <http://clanet.site-ym.com/?321>

Lead Articles: Share Your Success!

the pre-conference newsletter. If you have completed a big project, led your
team through a tough transition, or other items you would like to share, send
it to us!

Fun Scenarios: We need volunteers !

How do you manage? (Need Scenarios and volunteer directors/managers)

Ask the Director (light-hearted tone to management questions)

Dear Abby for Libraries (send us the questions you are too afraid to ask)

We will need articles and volunteers by Friday, October 16th. Please send
submissions to <mailto:[email protected]> [email protected]

Thanks!
